Aboriginal Support

We have a long history and proven track record working with Aboriginal communities in our region. This commitment continues with employment of Aboriginal staff. GoCo is happy to offer you a choice to work with someone who is Aboriginal, or not, no matter which program you are eligible for.

Gunnedah Elders Group

GoCo Elders Group is open to Aboriginal people over the age of 50 years. The Elders who attend will be able to join in a variety of activities, enjoy a homemade meal, and have a chance to catch up with old friends or make some new ones. Participants are invited to attend regular trips away. Transport to and from the group is available. You will need to be registered through My Aged Care, or a Participant of the NDIS, to attend this group. If you would like more information, or some help to register on My Aged Care please call our Intake Officer on 02 6740 2242, or contact us to request a call back.

We receive funding from Transport NSW to help Aboriginal people to attend funeral or Sorry business. For more information, or to book transport please contact us.
