service across north-west NSW.

What is Community Transport?
Community transport services help people get to appointments, go shopping, do other everyday chores, or catch up with family and friends.
It’s like a second car, taking the stress out of getting around so you can go about your life easily and safely.
You can trust our drivers, get an accessible vehicle if you need one, and travel door-to-door when it suits you.
You can also get assistance during a journey if you need it or bring a family member or carer.
Costs depend on the service you need and whether you have access through a government-funded program.
Who can use community transport?
You can use community transport if you’re:
- aged 65 or over, or 50 or over if you’re Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- eligible through My Aged Care or NDIS
- can’t access other transport
- living with limited mobility or a disability.
How much does it cost?
Costs depend on when and how far you travel, and what type of vehicle you need.
If you qualify through My Aged Care or NDIS, they may cover your costs.
You may also be able to get subsidised taxi trips and vouchers.

GoCo Doctors Run
Are you finding it hard to get an appointment with local Gunnedah doctors? GoCo offers regular, affordable Transport assistance to the Gunnedah community with the Doctors Run.
GoCo can transport you to any GP service in Tamworth and has specifically partnered with North West Health in Tamworth and Ochre Medical Centre in Boggabri to reserve set GoCo Client appointments on regular days of the week.
This will enable clients to be collected from their homes by the GoCo Bus to attend doctor appointments without experiencing long wait times between clients before being transported home.
The services are possible thanks to a dedicated team of GoCo Volunteers who give up their time to drive clients to Tamworth and Boggabri.
Clients will book their doctors appointment directly with their GP service using GoCo as a special reference at North West Health and Ochre Medical in Boggabri.
Clients will then contact GoCo to book their seat on the GoCo Doctors Run.
The GoCo Doctors Run is for new and existing GoCo clients and is available for both community members and older people eligible through My Aged Care.
All GoCo Doctors Run trips require client to contribute to the cost in the form of fees outlined in GoCo’s fee schedule.
