These one hour classes are delivered by a team of GoCo Partners from local businesses with exercise physiologists. Classes are aimed at older people who are looking for a group activity with an individual focus on your needs and abilities.
All participants receive a complimentary initial assessment and health check from the exercise physiologist instructor prior to commencing classes.
Classes focus on your individual goals, health and well being with activities modified to suit your needs and preferences.
Testing is provided every three months to gage progress and make changes to suit your needs in consultation with the GoCo team and your care plan.
Classes are designed to help participants stay active so that you can maintain your independence.
GoCo supplies relevant weights and equipment in a spacious and comfortable environment.
Regular physical activity promotes healthy lifestyle and social interaction. This program is designed to reduce your risk of falls, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and dementia.
