Kootingal Exercise Classes
Strength and balance gentle exercise classes for older people in the Kootingal community. GoCo’s weekly exercise classes are delivered by Exercise Physiologist Jill Mooney from Rural Fit. All participants receive a complimentary initial assessment and health check from Rural Fit prior to commencing classes. Classes focus on your individual goals, health and well being with activities modified to suit your needs and preferences. Testing is provided every three months to gage progress and make changes to suit your needs in,

Gunnedah Aboriginal Elders Group
A social group for Aboriginal people over the age of from the Gunnedah community. Weekly activities delivered by GoCo staff and our wonderful volunteers in accordance with the cultural needs and preferences of the group. The Elders who attend will be able to join in a variety of activities, enjoy a homemade meal, and have a chance to catch up with old friends or make some new ones. Transport to and from the group is available.

Gunnedah Brain Training
Brain Training is a social group for older people run by Gunnedah Shire Council in the Gunnedah Shire Library. The group offers a creative and supportive setting to boost brain function. This is done by targeting memory, vocabulary and decision making through games and activities including puzzles, craft, games, mazes and code breaking. Participants love their weekly catch up with friends and a chance to get creative and test their brains. Transport to and from the Gunnedah Library is available…
