Carers NSW Partner – GoCo
GoCo is a Carers NSW partner in the delivery of carer directed support packages and peer support
As a Carers NSW partner, GoCo contributes to the delivery of Carer Gateway services in New England, New South Wales.
The Australian Government is investing $550 million in support services for carers across the country through Carer Gateway – the biggest carer support reform in Australia in more than a decade.
These services are free to access for anyone caring for a family member or friend who is living with a disability, a long term medical condition, mental illness, alcohol, or drug dependency or someone who is frail due to age.
What services are available
New services for carers through Carer Gateway include:
- Carer support planning
- Counselling
- Peer support
- Carer directed support packages
- Respite and emergency respite services.
Carer Gateway is the the new contact point for emergency respite for carers.
In the New England/North West, Carer Gateway services are led by Carers NSW. GoCo is a Carers NSW partner in the delivery of carer directed support packages and peer support.

How to access these services
Should you require services and supports which GoCo is able to deliver, you will be referred back to GoCo by the Carer Gateway.

Carers NSW has been chosen as the Carer Gateway Service Provider across Hunter New England, the Central Coast and North Coast of NSW.
No matter where you are located, you can contact Carer Gateway and be directed to the Carer Gateway Service Provider in your region.
