Although things are different and we are unable to shake your hand or give you a hug, the GoCo Team is still committed to providing services and supports to older people across our communities in the North West of NSW.
As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, GoCo will recommence home visits from Wednesday 27 May 2020 for clients who require reviews, assessments and to facilitate continuity of care. I order to maintain good practice around hygiene and social distancing, the GoCo team will be in contact with clients in advance to confirm that you and members of your household are well and comfortable with the visit.
You will be asked a range of questions to determine whether the home visit will go ahead.
GoCo continues to follow recommendations from government and aged care peak bodies and currently, our offices remain closed to the public until further notice. But we are still here, the Team remains available to assist you over the phone or by email to change or implement new services. If you have experienced a change in circumstances and require additional supports please don’t hesitate to contact the GoCo Team for help.
Unfortunately due to our vulnerable older client base, our much loved social groups will remain on hold. This will be revised when we receive an update in advice.
GoCo Executive Manager, Bruce Mercer, reassures GoCo clients that the Team continues to remain committed to delivering our essential services to clients.
‘The continued health and wellbeing of our clients is our main priority meaning our essential services such as transport, meals and shopping assistance continue on,’ Mr Mercer said.
‘The Team is here to help with all your assistive equipment needs with items such as tablets to keep connected to loved ones and medical alert pendants to give peace of mind, which are very popular at the moment.’
GoCo has also made a significant investment in personal protective equipment so that all offices and vehicles remain stocked with items to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
