GoCo Reopens Offices – COVID-19 Update

4 Jun, 2020

As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, GoCo will open its offices to the public from Tuesday 9 June 2020 for individual transactions.

The team has been busy readying office spaces to welcome back clients in a safe and supportive environment, to help older people across north-west communities who require aged care assistance in their homes and community.

All visitors to GoCo offices will be asked to comply with key COVID-19 rules to ensure the safety of staff and our community.

‘We know our clients and volunteers are in the most vulnerable group of people so it is important that we are extra careful when it comes to opening our doors,’ GoCo Executive Manager, Bruce Mercer said.

‘The key messages are no surprise – stay home if you are unwell, sanitise your hands and sign in upon entry into our offices and maintain social distance,’ Mr Mercer said.

Booking appointments in advance to see GoCo team members will also assist with meeting social distance restrictions.

GoCo’s much loved social groups will remain on hold; however, this will be revised in the coming weeks when alternative plans and protective measures have been put in place.

‘The continued health and well being of our clients has been our main priority throughout the pandemic, meaning our essential services such as Home Care Packages, transport, meals and shopping assistance continue on,’ Mr Mercer said.

The team is ready to assist new clients with Home Care Packages, in-home and community support across the region. Book a consultation with a member of the team in Barraba, Kootingal, Nundle, Tamworth, Gunnedah or Narrabri today.

If you are out of these locations? GoCo can come to you.

Service updates will be available at gococare.com.au or GoCo’s Facebook page.
