Australian Aged Care Quality Agency: Accreditation body for all Aged Care Services in Australia. The Quality Agency also provides education, resources and support for all Aged Care Services to meet the National Aged Care Quality Standards. They also provide information on the transition to the new Aged Care Quality Standards which all Aged Care providers are transitioning to by 1 July 2019.
Royal Commission Into Aged Care Quality and Safety
On Tuesday 9 October Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the Terms of Reference for the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
The Royal Commission’s interim report is expected by 31 October 2019, and its final report no later than 30 April 2020.
