Memberships

Gunnedah Shire Council (GoCo) is a member of Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA)

By supporting our members to be high performing, respected and sustainable service providers, ACCPA plays a role in realising better ageing outcomes for older Australians. We understand that effective representation is best achieved through facilitated sector collaboration, research and advocacy and speaking with ‘one voice’.

ACCPA’s mission is to enhance the wellbeing of older Australians through a high performing, trusted and sustainable aged care sector.

Our nomination for the Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce Gala Business Awards signifies more than just recognition of our achievements. It sends a message to other businesses about the importance of diversity and inclusion. It highlights that the path to success is paved with varied voices and perspectives. We are not just participants in the conversation; they are leaders driving it forward.

The Clinical Governance Committee was established to provide guidance to the board (the Gunnedah Shire Council councillors) and executive team of GoCo that our clinical governance systems and processes are effective and align with the objectives of our Clinical Governance Framework. This structure within the organisation supports safety and quality of the clinical care delivered by our employees and subsequent partners.

Thank you to Management & staff at GoCo for the lovely flowers and support given to Neville.
